Well, Nick and I have been back in Indiana for almost a month, and you might wonder what we have been up to. The answer is mostly work! Nick has been very busy since August is a huge move-in/move-out time at Woodbridge Apartments. College classes don't start here until September 2nd, but many students are moving before that. So he has been pretty tired after work from trying to schedule all of the lease signings, finalize moving schedules, and making sure the needed maintenance is performed. I have been continuing to work in the research lab at the Optometry school. We have screened almost 40 incoming freshman athletes as a part of our research. Maybe I have met some future all-stars (guess I should have asked for their autographs!)
Of course, we have made time for some fun and several grill-outs with friends. Classes will be starting again before I know it, but I am excited that my parents and sister are coming to visit me over Labor Day weekend. Due to scheduling at work, that happens to be the only time that Nick can take his vacation time as well. So while the Callaway family makes the drive to Indiana, Nick will be heading back to Iowa to visit family and friends for a week or so. Maybe they will meet on Interstate 74! Since there aren't too many pictures for this post, I have included a few of the dogs. We recently watched Josh & Lezlie's dog, Molly, for 10 days while they were in South Dakota. Most of these pictures were taken of them at the dog park. Earlier they had shredded a pink and purple fleece ball, so they are wearing the fleece as necklaces! I thought it was cute, but Nick didn't appreciate it as much!
