Drool in the Pool

Kinnick and Herky got to go swimming at the city pool at Bryan Park on Thursday and Friday night of this week. Before the pool closes for the winter, they open the pool to dogs only for two nights (then they drain the pool and throw out the filters). Herky loves to swim and jumped right into the big pool (3-4 feet deep). He played fetch with the toys that were provided and had a blast. I couldn't get him out of the pool! A photographer from Indiana Daily Student (the IU student newspaper) took a bunch of pictures of Herky and he was pictured in the paper on Friday. Here's the link to the article:

Kinnick jumped into the big pool once, but he would prefer to walk in the water rather than swim, so he hung out in the wading pool after that. He had fun chasing a tennis ball and playing with the other dogs, especially a Great Dane.
